GET COMFORTABLE WITH THE UNCOMFORTABLE
Lillah’s interactive approach and ability to help others get comfortable with the uncomfortable creates opportunities for people to ask the questions they might otherwise be too afraid to ask. Her “meet them where they are at” mindset allows for an honest presentation of the facts surrounding diversity, equity and inclusion while also creating a safe and fun space to break down barriers.
Uncover how the power of game-based learning can bridge racial divides, create meaningful connections, and promote empathy among diverse groups. You Said You Don’t See Color
Lillah draws on her own experiences as a visible minority in Canada and navigating the racism and discrimination perpetrated by those within her circle. The commonality of these experiences can create opportunities for discussion and healing if we allow it. Lillah explains the trauma that these experiences can induce, the power of acknowledgement, and the path to healing through awareness and communication.
Conscious Allyship
Lillah helps individuals and organizations explore making the decision to step into allyship in a way that is meaningful and not performative. She creates a safe space for her audience to acknowledge where they may be falling short without condemnation or judgment. Audiences find value in her ability to be emotionally intelligent, hold them accountable without being accusatory and be accepting without condoning. This session sheds light on the different types of allyship, the steps to conscious allyship, and highlights the power that each individual and organization has to truly change the world if they choose to step into that power.
