In honor of International Women's month, I share my story of navigating the intersectionality of being a Black woman seeking support from the health system, encountering stereotypes, and the lasting, unseen, impacts of discrimination. I speak to the emotional impact of my experience and how I allowed it to influence my allyship, this podcast, and using my most powerful weapon, my voice.
